The inaugural Mid-Atlantic College Media Arts and Communication Conference (MCMACC) will take place on the campus of Prince George’s Community College in Largo, Maryland on Wednesday, April 6, 2016. The theme of the conference is “Is Media Dividing the Country?” as we take a look at recent trends in digital, broadcast and print media and its impact on the social, political and economic conditions within the United States. The conference will engage participants in panel discussions, workshops and networking sessions to explore the ways media impacts the world. Registration for the conference comes with a membership with CMACA. Prince George’s Community College students may register for free.
The MCMACC is funded, in part, by the Prince George’s Community College Foundation Impact Grant and coordinated by the Prince George’s Community College Student Publications Office, supported by PGCC’s College Life Services.
