Homeschooling Because of Covid-19: Becoming a Learning Curator

The global pandemic known as COVID-19 has led to US school closings around the nation. Parents who relied on public, private and charter schools have had to take the lead in curating their children’s education, not by choice, but, because of necessity.

In the video below, I offer tips to new homeschooling parents in getting started on their journey to become their children’s learning curator. My take-away is that handouts, curriculum, online videos teaching course subjects, etc. will all be there. What parents first need to do is understand first who their children are as learners before beginning this journey.
